After studying art in Paris, St. Petersburg, and Copenhagen, and working in New York in advertising for Club Monaco, Sarah Briggs traded the Big Apple for the Big "D". She moved to Dallas to accept a job as a buyer for Neiman Marcus. It was then when she discovered her passion for jewelry design; this, combined with the business prowess of her husband, a Wharton MBA graduate, set the tone for Sara h Briggs' success.
Sarah Briggs LLC launched in October 2004. In its first year, Sarah Briggs exploded, picking up more than 200 better boutiques and specialty chains around the world. The line has been featured in over twenty publications including Elle, Lucky, InStyle and WWD. Sarah Briggs even hit up Hollywood with stars such as Jessica Biel and Paris Hilton sporting the jewelry on the red carpet.
Sarah steers clear from the trends in magazines and finds her inspiration in architecture; specifically by the timeless modernism of architects from the early 1900's. Each season develops more and more into Sarah Briggs' vision that is known for being linear and many pieces have that quirky edge that Sarah possesses. People are attracted to the line because of the artistic vision and specific look they now recognize as Sarah Briggs' work.
Each piece is handcrafted in the USA using 14k goldfill, semi-precious stones, cubic zirconia, and 14k gold plated filigree. The line shows in the prestigious Notanonymous showroom in New York, Premire Classe in Paris , and in Sarah's hometown at the FIG in Dallas .
